How to Calculate Age by Date of Birth
Your age is the time between your date of birth and a chosen date, which is usually today. Enter your DOB, keep or change the “age as of” date, and the calculator shows your age in years, months and days right beside the form. It works as a simple online age calculator for school forms, job applications, insurance and everyday curiosity.

years = full years completed • months = full months after that • days = remaining days

DOB 15 July 2000, as of 13 October 2026: 26 years, 2 months, 28 days (9,586 days).

Change “Age as of date” to a cut-off like 1 January or 1 August to check eligibility in advance.
Quick mental trick
Subtract your birth year from the current year, then subtract 1 if your birthday has not come yet this year.
Why leap years and month lengths matter
Months have 28, 29, 30 or 31 days and every fourth year adds a leap day. Counting by hand often misses these, so this age calculator from DOB counts real calendar days instead of rough averages.

- First trimester: up to 13 weeks 6 days
- Second trimester: 14 weeks to 27 weeks 6 days
- Third trimester: 28 weeks until birth
If your cycle is longer or shorter than 28 days, enter its length and the due date is adjusted. This is an estimate only. Your doctor may confirm dates with an ultrasound.
